willingness
This should be a no brainer; you cannot have friendship with anyone who does not value friendship and desire relationships.
proximity
You need to be close to in some form or fashion. Maybe you see them often, maybe you text/call often. Closeness is necessary!
commonality
The sharing of beliefs, hobbies, or seasons of life make for an interesting and enjoyable relationship.
connection
